The Audio Visual Support Specialist in Computing and Educational Technology Services (CETS) in the School of Engineering and Applied Science (SEAS) will provide Audio/Visual technology services, involving hardware and/or software, to users. This may include: installation, maintenance and troubleshooting of A/V systems in auditoriums, active learning classrooms, conference rooms, and other locations.
Job Description
This position will provide Audio/Visual technology services, involving hardware and/or software, to users. This may include: installation, maintenance and troubleshooting of A/V systems in auditoriums, active learning classrooms, conference rooms, and other locations. Interact daily with individuals with a variety of technology expertise, exercising independent judgment in determining how to best meet their needs. Participate in the testing and evaluation of new technology. Participate in and may serve as a liaison between the department and user groups and other campus computing support. May develop and deliver instructional programs and prepare instructional resources in support of end-users.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree and a minimum of one year of related experience with audio-visual systems or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Demonstrated excellent communication and interpersonal skills. May be required to support events outside regular work schedule and some weekends..
