Overview

The Physical Therapist W.E.S.T Float is a proactive member of an interdisciplinary team of licensed and unlicensed care givers who ensure that patients, families and significant others receive individualized high quality, safe patient care. It is expected that all RN Clinical Nurses - are licensed, knowledgeable and uphold the practice of nursing as outlined by the Georgia Professional Nurse Practice Act and implements the Scope of Practice and Code of Ethics Standards put forth by the American Nurses Association.

Facility: WAB - Wellstar Administrative Building



The Physical Therapist Float assesses, plans, organizes, and participates in rehabilitative programs that improve mobility, relieve pain, increase strength, and decrease or prevent deformity of patients suffering from disease or injury. Services are provided across the full continuum and rendered in a cost-conscious, quality-focused focused, and customer-oriented manner. Compliance with all applicable regulatory standards is also required in this role. The position will be floating within a specific region traveling between hospitals in that region.

Region 2 Central:Cobb, Paulding, and Douglas Hospitals



Region 3 South: Spalding, Sylvan Grove, and West Georgia Hospitals
