The Physician - Pediatric Hospitalist - Douglasville, GA is a proactive member of an interdisciplinary team of licensed and unlicensed care givers who ensure that patients, families and significant others receive individualized high quality, safe patient care. It is expected that all RN Clinical Nurses - are licensed, knowledgeable and uphold the practice of nursing as outlined by the Georgia Professional Nurse Practice Act and implements the Scope of Practice and Code of Ethics Standards put forth by the American Nurses Association.

Wellstar Medical Group is seeking a part-time Pediatric Hospitalist, board-certified/board-eligible in Pediatricsto work at an established hospital in Douglasville, GA. Join us as we practice in a state-of-the-art pediatric family friendly facility, where our patients are at the center delivering care close to home. Team PEDS treats every child as if they are our very own, and as if they are the only patient we are serving.
Approximately 6 shifts per month
Call schedule is generally 7 on 7 (based on a full-time schedule) off 24 hour call with opportunity to take call from home - responsible to attend deliveries
