A growing manufacturer producing innovative plastic extrusion products is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Quality Engineering Manager to join our team.
Responsibilities:
Perform CAPA investigations and lead efforts to resolve quality issues
Conduct quality audits to ensure compliance with internal and external standards
Develop process flow charts to improve efficiency and quality
Train extrusion technicians on quality procedures and best practices
Communicate with customers and suppliers to resolve quality issues and maintain relationships
Analyze SPC data to identify trends and areas for improvement
Ensure compliance with ISO 9000 standards and participate in internal and external audits
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement continuous improvement initiatives
Provide support and guidance to production and engineering teams to improve quality

Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field
Minimum of 5 years of experience in quality engineering, preferably in plastic extrusion or related industry
Strong understanding of SPC and statistical analysis tools
Experience with CAPA investigations, quality audits, and process improvement methodologies
Knowledge of ISO 9000 standards and experience with internal and external audits
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and quality
