Responsibilities
What you'll be challenged to do:
TranSystems Baltimore office is seeking a Water Resources Engineering Intern to assist our growing Water Resources team. The water resources team is part of our larger Transportation Department. Our Transportation Department works on a wide variety of roadway projects including new location, widening and modernization of existing facilities, bridge and culvert replacement, intersection and interchange design, bike and pedestrian facilities, greenways, and sidewalk improvements. Water Resources supports this project by preparing drainage design, stormwater management design, erosion and sediment control, stream modeling, grading and permitting. In addition to Transportation projects, the Water Resources group supports other departments engaging in planning, environmental, and land development design, and floodplain management. These projects will offer the selected candidate an excellent career path to broaden their professional experience. The selected candidate will be working in a collaborative environment with engineering professionals to develop design plans for a wide variety of projects. This role is a full time position onsite in Towson, Maryland.
