Program Manager (Technical - applications, software, product)
Full-time, direct hire
Dallas office location (occasional visits to office required for team meetings but the general working arrangement is remote)
Up to $180k base salary plus bonus and a good benefits package
Our client, who provides industry leading mortgage solutions is looking for 1-2 technical program managers to manage and deliver a portfolio of projects focusing on cloud based products, these positions will report to the VP of Product.
Responsibilities
End-to-end project management of upgrades to & automation of existing products, as well as development of new products.
Participate in requirements gathering workshops, estimation discussions, design meetings and status review meetings.
Ensure projects stay on track, report potential issues and risks way ahead of time.
Resource management, and budget management.
Maintain an excellent relationship with all key stakeholders.
Contribute to project documentation.
Required Qualifications & Experience
Several years' experience leading enterprise technology programs.
Track record of successfully managing and delivering complex programs of work.
Experience managing programs from end to end, ideally in a production environment including but not limited to resource management & allocation, budgeting, risk management, reporting, requirements gathering, proof of concept development, deployment of applications, testing, lessons learned etc.
Excellent understanding of the Agile Scrum framework, familiarity with working in two-week sprints.
Good understanding of Microsoft cloud technologies i.e. Azure, Azure SQL, Azure DevOps etc.
Background in software engineering, prior coding experience.
Experience using various tracking and reporting tools to keep track of project status i.e. JIRA.
Excellent communication skills including presentation skills.
