Job Description:

Adecco Creative and Marketing has partnered with a global educational publishing company to hire an editorial project manager.

This is an ongoing, hybrid (onsite 1-2 days/wk) contract in SoHo. You will work 35 hours/week. The pay is $50-$60/hr.

Responsibilities:

In this role you will manage and balance the needs of several established, on-going projects at the same time and coordinate work-flow and priorities.
  • Leading the planning, execution, and monitoring of print and digital product development projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
  • Working closely with content development teams to define project requirements, scope, and objectives, and develop project plans and timelines.
  • Coordinating the creation and refinement of educational content, including textbooks, workbooks, e-books, interactive learning modules, and digital assessments.
  • Managing relationships with external vendors and contractors involved in print production, digital development, and distribution, ensuring adherence to project specifications and timelines.
  • Conducting regular project status meetings, providing updates to stakeholders, and addressing any issues or challenges that may arise during the project lifecycle.
  • Monitoring industry trends, market demands, and customer feedback to identify opportunities for product enhancements and innovation.

Qualifications:
  • Deep understanding of Pre-K through Grade 8 materials, both print and digital
  • Project Management experience
  • Ability to juggle multiple projects simultaneously
  • Deadline-driven
  • Ability to work closely and collaborate with others.
  • Ability to foster and encourage a strong team spirit
  • Knows how and when to delegate
  • Has the ability to guide team members in achieving project-specific goals, helping them work together and leverage one another.
  • Knowledge of multilingual support and/or fluency in Spanish a plus
