Utilizes project management processes and methodologies for the IT community to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, adhere to high quality standards and meet customer expectations.
Responsibilities • Manages individual(s) including but not limited to: hires, trains, assigns work, manages & evaluates performance, conducts professional development plans. Ensures that the productivity and actions of that group meet/support the overall operational goals of the department as established by department leadership. • May participate in the development of departmental staffing, revenue and/or expense budgets and having direct responsibility for adhering to those goals. This includes responding to changes in the business which may affect the ability to achieve the budget goals. • Leads teams of operational professionals responsible for overseeing application system availability, performance, and enhancements. • Participates in managing client and supplier relationships as well as negotiations with suppliers to maximize value for OUR CLIENT. • Assembles project plans and teamwork assignments, directing and monitoring work efforts on a daily basis, identifying resource needs, performing quality review; and escalating functional, quality, timeline issues appropriately. • Develops detailed work plans, schedules, project estimates, resource plans, and status reports. • Contributes to the development and management of capital and operating budgets
