Job Description:

*Position Overview:**

My client is a $500M developer targeting a Project Engineer/Procore Specialist, where you'll play a pivotal role reporting directly to the Vice Presidents of Construction and Construction Managers. You'll be an indispensable part of all construction project phases, assisting with various administrative tasks from design development to project closeout.

**Responsibilities:**

- Collaborate with VPs, Construction Managers, and Construction Superintendents across all construction stages.

- Conduct research and coordinate special department projects as assigned.

- Prepare necessary reports for the Construction Department.

- Manage standard operating procedures and policies for Procore.

- Oversee day-to-day Procore operations, including user permissions and company directory management.

- Assist in enhancing workflow efficiencies for the Accounting Department.

- Ensure accurate construction budget and expenditure information in the system.

- Coordinate meetings and attend company-sponsored events and educational activities.

- Attend design meetings, take notes, and follow up on assigned tasks.

- Assist with permit acquisition and fee payments.

- Review project plans and report project details to relevant stakeholders.

- Aid in creating and reviewing trade-specific scopes of work.

- Load plans onto Procore and create bid packages for subcontractors.

- Communicate with subcontractors regarding proposal deliveries.

- Organize and review subcontractor proposals for presentation to VPs and CMs.

- Collaborate with Contracts, VPs, and CMs to execute contracts and purchase orders.

- Work closely with Accounting to ensure accuracy of draws and budget adjustments.

- Conduct regular project site inspections.

- Track and process change orders.

- Assist in submittal processing and review.

- Ensure timely approval of submittals.

- Compile closeout packages for projects, including necessary documents like As-builts, Closeout Binders, and Certificates of Occupancy.

**Experience Requirements:**

The ideal candidate should possess:

- 1-3 years of demonstrated experience in the construction industry.

- Proficiency in reading and interpreting construction plans, specifications, and reports.

- Strong skills in MS Outlook, MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, Smartsheet, Bluebeam, and Procore.

- Ability to comprehend and follow instructions, multitask, and perform complex tasks efficiently.

- Capacity to work at a fast pace and handle high-volume workloads.

- Excellent teamwork skills with a proactive approach to project initiatives.
