What You'll Actually Do:
Participate in and learn every facet of the accounting processes of the organization
Prepare journal entries and financial processes to ensure an accurate General Ledger in accordance with GAAP through a timely month-end close
Prepare and analyze monthly internal financial statements ensuring accuracy and timely reporting in a complex environment
Complete account reconciliations monthly, researching and resolving any issues identified
Develop and enforce internal controls to maximize the protection of company assets, policies, procedures, and workflow
Perform analysis of actual to forecast/budget variances
Assist in completing external and internal audits
Responsible for special projects/reports as assigned
To Be Successful in This Role, You Will Need:
BS in Accounting or Finance
2-3 years of accounting in public accounting or industry general ledger accounting
Advanced Excel skills
Strong knowledge of GAAP/Accounting Processes
Self-motivated, detail-oriented, able to handle multiple priorities
