Maintain 4 hours' worth of usable inventory at line side
Perform cycle counts
Required to maintain a neat & organized work areas
Ensure proper operating safety procedures of motorized equipment
Return all material that is not being used on the manufacturing line to the warehouse.
Remove empty dunnage, wooden pallets from the WIP areas.
Other Tasks/Responsibilities:
Communicate with the production Supervisor & his designee on any material issues.
Work with quality assurance when materials are found to be nonconforming.
Continuous improvement in all phases of material handling

Education:
High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Knowledge, Skills and Experience:
automotive experience
Physical Demands:
Ability to work effectively under pressure.
Some occasional lifting (up to limits prescribed by OSHA) may be involved.
Continuously meets short deadlines while maintaining quality of the results.
Personal Protective Equipment (PPE):
Employee must regularly wear safety glasses, safety shoes and hearing protection.
Other PPE may be required based on specific projects or areas.
Work Environment/Hours:
Primary work area is located in a manufacturing setting.
Must work normal office hours plus provide support on evenings and weekend (as needed)
