Supervise production and operating employees under the Manager's direction.
Develop short- to mid-term strategies aligning with business objectives.
Implement decisions based on business conditions in alignment with corporate vision.
Analyze data from work sites to identify root causes and resolve business issues.
Conduct root cause analyses and recommend improvements for floor issues.
Assign work schedules, tasks, and duties.
Monitor processes to maximize production efficiency and minimize waste.
Prepare departmental reports and present them to Manager or executive management.
Complete necessary documentation such as status changes and performance evaluations.
Collaborate with Human Resources Manager in recruiting potential employees.
Interpret work orders, specifications, and company policies for employees.
Work with team members to identify areas for growth.
Assist in developing and implementing standard work instructions.
Other Job Functions:
Adhere to safety policies and procedures.
Follow TS 16949 and ISO 14001 procedures and standards.
Perform 5-S activities.
Minimum Requirements:
5+ years of leadership experience in production.
Willingness to undergo cross-training.
Proficient oral and written communication skills.
Experience managing teams of 50 or more.
Strong understanding of planning, scheduling, and inventory systems.
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
Preferred experience in the automotive industry.
Knowledge of Lean or TPS practices preferred.
Arc welding management experience is a plus.
