A great UHY client is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to join their team. The ideal candidate will have budgeting/forecasting experience, consolidations experience (using Oracle or Hyperion preferred), and advanced Excel skills including modeling.
The Senior Financial Analyst role is an onsite position. This is a client direct hire position.
Senior Financial Analyst Responsibilities:
Responsible for providing analytical support for a global purchasing project and other data initiatives and financial analysis across the organization.
Tracking and validating realized cost savings
Data analysis to support regular program reviews
Review and reconciliation of general ledger data
Support post program data management
Analyze financial data and create financial models for decision support
Report on financial performance and prepare for regular financial reviews
Analyze past results, perform variance analysis, identify trends, and make recommendations for improvements
Work closely with the accounting team to ensure accurate financial reporting
Evaluate financial performance by comparing and analyzing actual results with budgets and forecasts
Increasing productivity by developing automated reporting tools
Working with various ERP software systems, consolidation, data mining and reporting tools
Supports consolidation of monthly financials
Supports administration of Financial systems
Supports ad-hoc reporting assignments as directed
Senior Financial Analyst Education Requirement:
BS/BA Degree in Finance/Accounting, or related field required
Senior Financial Analyst Experience Requirements:
2 to 4 years of relevant Finance/Audit or Public Accounting Experience preferred
Knowledge of ERP business management software packages (i.e. JD Edwards)
Knowledge of consolidation tools (i.e. Oracle EPM Cloud, Hyperion FM), SmartView, Power BI and advanced Excel skills including modeling
Experience assisting with annual budget and rolling forecasts.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to communicate and present metrics effectively to support strategic recommendations
