Job Description:

Summary

We are seeking a Maintenance Leader to oversee all maintenance activities at our manufacturing facility. Responsibilities include leading and managing the maintenance team, developing preventive maintenance programs, coordinating maintenance activities with production schedules, ensuring compliance with safety standards, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, comprehensive maintenance knowledge, and the ability to effectively manage resources and budgets

Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage the maintenance team, including technicians and contractors, to effectively maintain and repair manufacturing equipment and facilities.
  • Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs to minimize downtime, optimize equipment performance, and extend equipment lifespan.
  • Coordinate maintenance activities with production schedules to minimize disruption to operations while ensuring safety and quality standards are met.
  • Identify opportunities for improvement in maintenance processes and procedures, and implement corrective actions to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, company policies, and safety standards, including conducting regular safety inspections and audits.
  • Manage maintenance budgets and resources effectively, including planning and prioritizing maintenance activities, tracking expenses, and managing inventory.
  • Collaborate with other departments, such as engineering, production, and quality assurance, to support continuous improvement initiatives and address equipment-related issues.
  • Develop and mentor maintenance team members, providing training, guidance, and support to foster a culture of safety, excellence, and continuous learning.

Experience
  • +3 years of experience in maintenance management or leadership role within a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to effectively lead and motivate a team.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of maintenance principles, practices, and techniques, including preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair.
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, mechanical or electrical engineering preferred.
  • Experience with maintenance management systems and software.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on continuous improvement.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with shifting priorities and tight deadlines.
  • Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in maintenance and manufacturing operations.
