Position Overview: As a Senior Financial Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in driving financial strategy and decision-making processes. You will be responsible for aggregating and analyzing financial data, preparing comprehensive reports, and presenting insights to the executive team. This position requires an Excel expert with a strong analytical mindset and the ability to create impactful presentations for quarterly board meetings.
Key Responsibilities:
Aggregate, analyze, and interpret financial data from multiple sources to identify trends, variances, and opportunities.
Prepare detailed financial reports, including Profit and Loss statements, Balance Sheets, and Cash Flow statements.
Develop and maintain financial models to support forecasting, budgeting, and strategic planning initiatives.
Create executive-level presentations and decks for CEO and CFO, providing insights and recommendations based on financial analysis.
Collaborate cross-functionally to gather relevant information and ensure alignment on financial objectives.
Present financial findings and recommendations to the executive team in preparation for quarterly board meetings.
Stay updated on industry trends, market conditions, and regulatory changes that may impact financial performance.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in finance, Accounting, or related field. CMA preferred.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in financial analysis, preferably in the industrial manufacturing industry.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including complex formulas, pivot tables, and data visualization techniques.
Proven ability to aggregate, analyze, and interpret large datasets accurately and efficiently.
Strong understanding of financial statements, accounting principles, and financial metrics.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to present complex financial information in a clear and concise manner.
Highly analytical mindset with a keen attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Experience presenting financial insights to senior leadership or board members is a plus.
Previous experience with implementing an ERP system.
