Job Description:

Job Summary: We are currently looking for a Lead Maintenance Technician at our Mason Healthcare Laundry facility. For our first shift 5:30am - 2:00pm position, we are looking for someone who is confident in decision making, can act quickly, and has excellent communication skills. Job Skills Requirements:

• 3-5 years of direct experience in the maintenance field


• Mechanical and electrical motor control diagnostic skills


• Familiar with boilers, air compressors, water softeners


• Pipe fitting experience.


• PLC experience


• Able to read schematics and blueprints.


• Good hand-eye coordination.


• Perform project work requiring both retrofit and new designs to improve equipment performance.


• Intermittent periods during which continuous physical exertion is required, such as walking, standing, stooping, climbing, lifting materials or equipment, some of which may be heavy or awkward.


• Welding, autoclave, industrial washer, and dryer experience is a plus.

• Able to work independently or in a team effort.


• Able to work a flexible schedule as needed.


• Detail-oriented and able to consistently follow instructions.


• Display a high level of safety consciousness.


• Ability to communicate effectively with supervisors and coworkers.


• Perform all work functions according to written Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s).


• Careful scheduling of maintenance jobs to avoid an interruption in production.


• Accurate documentation of work orders and preventative maintenance.


• Other duties as assigned.

Education:

• High school diploma or GED required.
