The scenic Hilton Waikoloa Village is looking for a Project Manager to join their operations team.

Job Description:

Plans, schedules and implements major capital projects, maintenance projects, property rehabilitation/renovations and assigned special projects. Develops work scope, solicits vendor bids, reviews construction drawings, supervises contractors and hotel team members in completion of project. Manages capital expenditures and project budget.

What will I be doing?


  • Supervise work in the field, traveling to various sites throughout the property and taking photographs of work in progress. Maintains project schedule and conducts punch lists for Quality Assurance.
  • Develops and publishes computerized detailed schedules to coordinate the flow of work of architects, professional consultants, sub-contractors, hotel operations and retail shops.
  • Reviews architectural/consultant plans and drawings, identifies conflicts, directs appropriate professions to resolve issues, publishes findings, and ensures work is accomplished (completed) according to established specifications. Makes immediate changes to plans as required.
  • Maintains files associated with Projects, including, but not limited to , Project File System,
  • Transmittal Files, Plan Changes, and Change Orders. Ensures appropriate distribution and approvals of all orders.
  • Conducts Job Site meeting and publishes minutes, ensuring the timely and appropriate distribution of minutes.
  • Manages Projects budget, monitors expenses and generates budget/expense reports.
  • Drafts RFP's, Bid packages, contracts, Purchase Order Requisitions and maintains computerized and hard files/records for Purchase Requisition numbers, Purchase Order numbers, Invoice numbers and payment processing dates.

What are we looking for?

EDUCATION

High school diploma required. College degree in an analytical field (i.e., business, architecture, etc.)

required.

EXPERIENCE

At least two years previous experience in Maintenance and new construction projects. Five years supervisory/management experience required. Hotel maintenance project experience preferred.

Salary Range: $84,000 - $95,000
