Job Description:

INIT Innovations in Transportation, Inc. (INIT) is seeking a part-time Marketing Coordinator. INIT’s corporate North American headquarters is in Chesapeake, Virginia. Responsibilities: 




  • Administrative Support

    • Assist the Marketing team with administrative tasks, records management, social media, research, reporting, and other marketing-related duties.




  • Social Media

    • Take full responsibility for all social media including development of content, scheduling posts, creating videos. Must be familiar with Canva and Hootsuite for social media management.




  • Reporting


    • Monthly report on user engagement across social channels (LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, Constant Contact, Spotify, Vimeo, company website) and online advertising click-through rates; record all Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).






  • Event Support

    • Help with print jobs, purchase orders, material orders, vendor communication, swag orders, product research, and other event-related tasks.




  • Customer Database

    • Update and maintain the Salesforce database with customer information including emails, addresses, job status, email preferences, subscription requests and inquiries.




  • Company Assets

    • Update PowerPoint presentations, data sheets, and company assets as needed. Occasionally create sales presentations with provided information.




  • Website

    • Manage website (TYPO3) adding blogs, events, webinars, and press releases or other articles. Maintain and update online content regularly.




Essential Skills and Experience: 



  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, TEAMS) and social media platforms (LinkedIn, YouTube, Facebook, Instagram).

  • Skilled in graphic and social media tools (Canva, Bit.ly, Bitable, Hootsuite).

  • Familiarity with Salesforce or ability to learn quickly.

  • Detail-oriented with the ability to multitask, prioritize, and work independently.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.

  • Demonstrated organizational and problem-solving abilities.

  • Team player.
