Job Description:

The Fifty/50 Restaurant Group is looking for a seasoned, experienced professional who anticipates and independently resolves financial issues by taking ownership to achieve results. They will ensure accurate and timely financial reporting by overseeing general accounting functions, reviewing current accounting processes, and making recommendations and improvements. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills and interest in financial reporting along with a desire for consistent personal and professional development. Responsibilities:

Prepare periodic balance sheet and income statement account reconciliations, financial statements and other financial information for internal and external use to assess and review the financial position of the company or assigned stores
Collect, analyze and present financial information to the management team identifying risks and opportunities to aid the team in meeting their specific goals
Assist departments with annual budget review and preparation
Participate in monthly financial reviews - identifying variances and implementing corrective actions
Assist with sales, use, liquor and other state and local tax filings on a monthly basis for each restaurant and support sales & use tax audits as needed
Researching federal, state and local taxation issues
Produce ad-hoc reports
Assist store managers and operations with accounting related inquiries
Responsible for continuous improvement of accounting and finance processes
Coach, train and review the work of the other officer and account managers
