Responsibilities
Work under direction of Office Sr. Project Manager on Geospatial related projects
Lead a Geospatial team in production of Aerial and Mobile LiDAR survey projects
Manage the Geospatial projects from start to finish while ensuring our services meet our clients’ needs and quality
Participate in planning and implement procedures and systems to maximize operating efficiency
Oversee and mentor technical staff to ensure long-term growth of the department
Establish work plans and staffing requirements for multiple projects
Develop and manage project metrics, budgets, schedules, billings, and contracts
Support in business development and estimation for Geospatial opportunities
Support with project related client meetings, communication and presentation
Provide Geospatial support to other operational units as needed
Serve as Company representative at meetings and presentations
Qualifications
Sound Knowledge of Aerial and Mobile LIDAR mapping process and workflow
Experience with Aerial and Mobile LiDAR projects related to different DOTs
Experience with Aerial LiDAR and Photogrammetric projects in support of Survey
Experience with Aerial LiDAR Survey related to Electrical Utility, Gas pipeline and / or ROW corridor mapping
Strong communication and organizational skills required
Experience with Microstation V8, Connect and Open Road
Experience with Terrasolid software, processes and capabilities
Knowledge of AutoCAD, ORD, GeoPAK and GIS deliverables
Experience with TopoDOT not required but is a plus
Bachelors degree in Geography, Photogrammetry, or related curriculum from an accredited college preferred
Minimum of 7 years progressive experience in Photogrammetry and/or Aerial LiDAR
ASPRS Certification not required, but would be preferred.
Desire to grow professionally, achieving new certifications and licenses that contribute to your own development.
