JOB DESCRIPTION:
We count on you in the following tasks :
Commodity group purchasing of Electronics with purchase responsibility for a specific product group incl. supplier strategy development for this category.
Provide support, and host for selected suppliers (mostly European) within the product group, incl. price negotiations and target agreements.
Yearly spend responsibility of a double digit million Euros portfolio
Negotiation and contract design in coordination with the Regional Category Manager
Yearly price negotiations of serial products based on the professional and corporate guidelines.
Creation of the Total Cost Comparison incl. supplier recommendation
Benchmark surveys on the purchasing volume to deduct savings potential and supplier strategy.
Compliance with and implementation of purchasing processes & tools
Provides support for the unforeseen events and take the lead on defined actions for the situation.
Performs audits at selected suppliers.
Manages and safeguard vendor data.
Manages financial Risk Analysis at supplier base, targetting avoidance of insolvencies or bankruptcies, with early warning system.
Provides reports of the current projects and supplier improvements, with monthly reviews.
Our future team member has the opportunity to visit our supplierand the Knorr-Bremse central office of Purchasing and manage the tasks on the spot as well. After starting , in the very first period the position require a higher willingness of travelling in order the successfully onboarding of the new colleagues
You are the ideal candidate if you possess:
Strong English knowledge skills (oral and written), German is an advantage. Hungarian is a must.
Technical or commercial university degree is an advantage.
Several years of work experience in purchasing, preferably in the automotive or industrial sector and/or with electronics experience
Excellent communication and negotiation skills
Strong intercultural and teamwork competence
