Key Responsibilities:

• Technical support to Packaging Category within Knorr-Bremse Group Indirect Procurement Department
• Participation in the execution of RFQs and tenders for packaging materials
• Creating and development of packaging concepts
• Coordination of technical discussions with packaging suppliers
• Supporting the development of packaging material specifications and requirements
• Building a database of packaging material specifications and drawings
• Optimization of existing packaging concepts, materials, and proactive coordination of cost reduction projects
• Supporting the Global Supply Chain team in packaging related topics

Skills and Competencies:

• University/College degree with specialization on Packaging Engineering
• Minimum 2 years professional experience in a similar field
• Knowledge of industrial packaging materials, packaging solutions
• Proficient in Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
• Proficiency in CAD design softwares
• Experience in SAP an advantage
• English at Full Professional Proficiency (knowledge of German an advantage)
