Graduate Teaching Associates carry out a variety of duties including: preparation and delivery of course lectures (when assigned); holding weekly office hours; facilitating weekly open labs/recitations; active role in course organization, administration, and communication including Carmen development and responding to student emails; participation in course administrative meetings; hands-on laboratory activities; laboratory preparation; active role in course assessments (e.g., preparation, proctoring, grading, & score posting); assist in the development of educational resources (e.g., prosections) for divisional instruction.
