The Department of Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation is recruiting for a Communications Specialist III. Incumbent will be responsible for providing moderately complex content and marketing development for web and print media, including, but not limited to, writing, editing, research, web graphics and templates, social media, signs and banners, emails, reports, templates, and other print and communications collateral. In addition, the incumbent will be responsible for serving as a strategic contributor in content creation, ensuring design and branding consistency, maintaining and updating applicable websites, social media platforms, and databases in a timely and accurate manner, tracking and posting publications, study recruitment materials, job opportunities, conferences, and events, providing planning and support for conferences, events, and promotions including advertising, photographing events and/or soliciting photos, vendor contact, developing materials, and milestone deliverables, working collaboratively and effectively with subject matter experts (SMEs) for overall management strategy of websites, attending events and meetings to support the Department's goals and priorities, and organizing/coordinating Panther Rounds lecture series.
Develops moderately complex web and print content and marketing. Acts as strategic contributor for communications team and creates diverse marketing materials for marketing team. Attends meetings designed for content planning and development. Ensures consistent messaging and maintains University brand and style.
Manages internal and external communication strategies. Develops moderately complex web and print content and marketing communications. Manages and creates web content for department and individual labs. Tracks publications, conferences, and events. Provides planning and support for conferences, meetings, and events (including Panther Rounds). Ensures consistent messaging and maintains University brand and style.
Light physical effort. May be required to stand/move for longer periods of time periodically and may be required to move objects up to 25 pounds occasionally.
