Location: Palm Beach County, Florida

Take Stock in Children Palm Beach County is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing educational opportunities and support for low-income and at-risk youth in Palm Beach County, Florida. Through mentorship, scholarships, and comprehensive programs, we aim to empower students to achieve academic success, break the cycle of poverty, and become productive members of society.

Position Overview:

Take Stock in Children Palm Beach County seeks a dedicated and passionate Program Success Manager to join our team. The Program Success Manager will play a crucial role in facilitating the implementation of our educational programs, coordinating with mentors and students, and ensuring the smooth operation of various initiatives to support students' academic and personal growth.

Key Responsibilities:

Program Managment: Oversee the day-to-day operations of educational programs, ensuring adherence to program goals, timelines, and objectives.

Coordinate the AmeriCorps College Readiness Coach program, ensuring effective deployment and support of coaches to provide guidance and resources to students in their college readiness journey.

Student & Alumni Support: Provide guidance, support, and resources to program participants, including low-income and at-risk students, to help them achieve academic success and personal development goals.

Event Coordination: Assist in planning and executing events such as workshops, college readiness meetings, and recognition ceremonies to engage students, mentors, donors, and community stakeholders.

New Student Recruitment:
  • Develop and implement strategies to attract prospective students to Take Stock in Children Palm Beach County.
  • Collaborate with schools, community organizations, and other stakeholders to promote the program and identify potential candidates.
  • Conduct presentations and informational sessions to educate students and families about the benefits and requirements of the program.

Coordinate Interview Process:
  • Schedule and coordinate interviews with the selection committee for prospective students.
  • Communicate with applicants/parents to provide necessary information and instructions for the interview process.
  • Ensure interview panels are prepared with appropriate materials and information about each candidate.
  • Facilitate the Google breakout session. Their role involves managing the logistics of the breakout rooms, ensuring smooth transitions, providing instructions to participants, and overseeing discussions or activities within the rooms.
  • Facilitate interview sessions, ensuring a welcoming and professional environment for candidates.

Student Selection Process Management:
  • Collaborate with the selection committee to review applications and interview feedback.
  • Assist in the evaluation of candidates based on established criteria and program requirements.
  • Maintain confidentiality and integrity throughout the selection process.
  • Communicate selection decisions to applicants in a timely and respectful manner.
  • Provide support and guidance to accepted students throughout the enrollment process.

Probation Process: Utilizing data from multiple sources to coordinate and facilitate internal probation meetings, ensuring timely reporting and effective communication with students and parents in alignment with Take Stock in Children Palm Beach County's guidelines and objectives.

Mentor Support: Assist Mentor Managers in facilitating mentor matches, conducting reference checks, and monitoring session averages for the team.

Data Management: Using database systems and other tracking tools, maintain accurate and up-to-date records of student and mentor information, program activities, and outcomes. Proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets, particularly in using formulas, is essential.

Community Outreach: Represent Take Stock in Children Palm Beach County at community events, meetings, and conferences to promote awareness of the organization's mission and programs.

Collaboration: Collaborate with school personnel, community partners, volunteers, and other stakeholders to maximize support and resources for program participants.

Evaluation and Reporting: Assist in the evaluation of program effectiveness through data analysis, surveys, and feedback mechanisms and contribute to the preparation of reports for internal and external stakeholders.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree.

Experience working with youth, preferably in an educational or mentoring capacity.

Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.

Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities. Adept at establishing connections with students, mentors, team members, and community stakeholders while fostering collaborative teamwork.

Skilled in utilizing Google tools, Salesforce, and database management software.

Benefits:

Competitive salary commensurate with experience ($55,000 -$60,000)
