About the Role:

Our team is looking for a high-energy and dynamic Business Partnerships Associate to assist the Business Partnerships Team in identifying and organizing leads and by scheduling those leads for demos, pitches, and closing calls.

This role will report to the Head of Business Partnerships and will be responsible for qualifying prospective leads. This role will serve as the first touch point for prospects and has the opportunity to set the tone for the ensuing pipeline cycle. The right candidate will be one who works well under pressure, easily initiates relaxed but informative phone or video conversations with prospects, and is highly self-motivated. The right candidate will also understand how to assess a prospect's needs in alignment with our product offerings, and cater the sales outreach to each prospect accordingly.

We are seeking a collaborative and energetic individual that can contribute to the sales and marketing teams, work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, contribute to and learn from others throughout the company, and work proactively to drive overall sales performance.

What you'll do:
  • Schedule qualified leads for meetings, demos, and closing pitches with the leadership team.
  • Maintain an accurate, organized CRM database.
  • Gather information from calls and demos to build comprehensive profiles on prospects.
  • Identify prospects within the industry and research contact information.
  • Conduct digital outreach to leads, including email and Linkedin.
  • Manage election and important dates calendar for the Business Partnerships team.
  • Perform other duties as assigned from time to time.

Detailed Qualifications:
  • Preferred: Minimum of one cycle (1-3 years) of agency or campaign experience, preferably in a Direct Sales, Tele-Sales, Customer Success, Digital, or Fundraising role
  • Required: Relevant internship, educational or professional background in sales, marketing, consulting, business development, or client success.
  • Prior experience with CRMs, such as ActiveCampaign, HubSpot, Salesforce, or others.
  • Proven track record articulating a product or service and building rapport with prospects.
  • Strong professional communication skills, including an ability to condense complex thoughts into coherent and easy to understand emails.
  • Ability to pinpoint customer needs and accurately assess the transactional value for both the company and the customer.
  • Self-motivated, tenacious, confident, independent, and strong attention to detail.
  • Well-organized, professional, and responsive; Able to perform job duties independently
