About the Role:

Please note this is a seasonal position that is expected to terminate on November 30, 2024.

Reporting to our Head of Client Success, the Client Success Manager will be responsible for driving a high level of customer satisfaction, successful product use, and customer retention. To achieve this high level of satisfaction, you will become an expert trader in our ads platform to ensure clients' campaigns perform at or above expectations on a regular basis.

You will serve as a primary point of contact for clients, understand client success criteria, address questions, resolve issues and, over time, serve as a trusted advisor.

The ideal candidate should have a proven track record of account management, maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction as a result of quality client engagement, technical leadership, and outstanding communication skills.

The person holding this role will be strategic, persuasive, empathetic, and have a genuine curiosity in their clients' business. They are goal and results oriented and easily adapts to change.

Past sales and/or customer service experience is a plus, especially with SaaS products.

What you'll do:
  • Build relationships with customers, help them with support issues, and continually delight them with a positive, customer-centric attitude.
  • Provide proactive strategy and optimization suggestions with assigned customer accounts; provide exceptional support and timely responses to client ticket requests
  • Guide new clients through an onboarding flow that ensures their initial and ongoing success in the Turn It Blue Ads platform
  • Work with customers to ensure they are leveraging the Turn It Blue Ads platform and our related suite of services effectively and finding value in our services. Upsell and cross-sell as appropriate to ensure the best client experience
  • Become an expert in the Turn It Blue Digital suite of products and confidently educate customers on the use and benefits of our products
  • Confidently work behind the scenes in our Turn It Blue Ads platform and the underlying AdTech technology. Be able to identify potential issues and backend optimization requirements for client campaigns as necessary.
  • Be a customer advocate while capturing relevant customer feedback and reporting requests to our Product and Partnerships teams as appropriate
  • Efficiently manage time to focus on essential activities to ensure customer satisfaction, account renewal, and account growth
  • Maintain a revenue base by managing your assigned accounts' month-over-month retention
  • Drive expansion revenue through increased product adoption and increased usage

  • Passion for working with AdTech and/or PoliTech and a desire to deeply understand Turn It Blue Digital's benefits, use cases, and technical elements
  • Ability to build credibility and trust by understanding and proactively addressing customer goals, requirements, pain points, and opportunities
  • Ability to maintain strong empathy for customers AND passion for revenue and growth
  • An extrovert: You love getting to know new people and helping to solve problems with innovative, outside-the-box solutions
  • Self-motivated, tenacious, and confident; able to work independently, maintain a strong attention to detail, with a bias towards responsiveness and action
  • Dedicated to achieving a progressive, Democratic majority across the country

Detailed Qualifications:
  • At least 1-3 years of relevant professional background in customer success, account management, and/or SaaS product adoption, ideally within an agency, AdTech, MarTech or PoliTech business model
  • Past political or other cause-based activism is strongly preferred (paid or volunteer)
  • Prior success utilizing CRMs (such as ActiveCampaign, HubSpot, or Salesforce) and client success tools (such as the Teamwork Suite, ZenDesk, Monday, or ClickUp).
  • Strong professional communication skills across written, verbal, presentation and social media applications, particularly when explaining complex solutions in layman's terms
  • Demonstrated track record for articulating solutions and building rapport with clients

Bonus Points to Applicants with the Following Traits:
  • Established political industry professional with demonstrated success supporting Client Success, Account Management and/or Product Adoption
  • Established AdTech/MarTech professionals with demonstrated success supporting Client Success, Account Management and/or Product Adoption
  • Prior experience in the Democratic or Progressive political vertical
  • Demonstrated prior success working remotely or in a non-traditional office setting
