Position Summary:

We are seeking a temporary Marketing Project Manager to oversee and execute various marketing initiatives within our organization. The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and implementing projects to ensure they are completed on time and within budget. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. The temporary Marketing Project Manager will collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive marketing campaigns, while maintaining clear communication and project timelines. This duration of this temporary assignment is up to six (6) months only.

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Develop and manage project plans and timelines for marketing initiatives
  • Coordinate with internal teams, including creative, content, and digital marketing, to ensure alignment and timely delivery of project components
  • Drive project commitments, and establish and maintain clear lines of accountability
  • Assist in the execution of marketing activities, such as event promotions, email marketing, regional newsletter content gathering, as needed
  • Compile and disseminate meeting notes, action items, and decisions after key meetings
  • Schedule occasional meetings for project teams as well as internal follow-up meetings
  • Attend weekly staff meetings and oversee action-item follow-up
  • Play a critical role in communicating potential updates to relevant stakeholders
  • Prepare analytics reports for management & key stakeholders highlighting key metrics and trends across email, social and web
  • Work with internal marketing team members to craft social posts supporting the business
  • Conduct post-project evaluations to assess outcomes, identify areas for improvement, and capture learnings for future projects
  • Use continuous improvement methods to identify ways to optimize project effectiveness, efficiency and quality
  • Support the marketing team in day-to-day tasks, including administrative duties and ad hoc projects, as required.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree required in Marketing, Business or related field
  • Five (5) or more years of project management experience preferably within a marketing team or marketing operations experience.
  • Familiarity with Canva, Salesforce, and Pardot or an equivalent email marketing software
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to organize and summarize information in order to communicate key points effectively;
  • Must be a self-starter with a strong preference towards action and able to move projects along independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines;
  • Must have strong organizational and project management skills, as well as impeccable attention to detail
  • Experience creating process efficiency and suggesting improvements for ways to work smarter;
  • Strong collaboration skills and ability to work across multiple cross-functional teams
  • Resourceful and proactive approach to identifying and resolving challenges, with the ability to adapt to changing priorities and navigate complex situations
  • Proficiency in analyzing data and metrics to evaluate project performance, identify trends, and make data-driven recommendations for optimization
  • Flexible and adaptable mindset, with the ability to thrive in a dynamic and evolving work environment, while maintaining a positive attitude and focus on results
  • Exceptional follow-up and follow-through skills;
  • Strong understanding of creative assets, specs, and creative production
  • Ability to prioritize in complex, fast-paced environment
  • Ability to gather and interpret data to help inform decisions
  • High proficiency in MS Office, including Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and SharePoint;
  • Working knowledge of all standard office equipment.

The anticipated salary range for candidates who will work in the San Diego area is $75,000 - $80,000. The final salary offered to a successful candidate will be dependent on several factors that may include but are not limited to the type and length of experience within the job, type and length of experience within the industry, education etc. Biocom California is a multi-state and multi-regional employer and this salary range may not reflect positions that work in other states and regions.
