As a key player in our team, you'll collaborate with the Solutions VP, Design for Manufacturing, COO, and Chief Commercial Officer to spearhead the organization, management, and planning of each new product commercialization project within one of our primary operating divisions.

Position Overview: As the Manager of Commercialization, you'll orchestrate the coordination, management, and planning of every facet of new product commercialization projects, from initial quoting to system implementation. Your role is pivotal in establishing the operational framework crucial for the seamless execution of projects. Your primary objective is to ensure timely, accurate, and efficient launches of new products that meet specifications and exceed customer expectations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee and track critical milestones throughout the implementation timeline of new product processes, from pre-quote discovery to post-mortem analysis.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to gather essential data points related to formulation, compliance, production, and procurement, ensuring the enhancement of our portfolio with profitable and replicable additions.
  • Manage the pre-quote process, estimating costs for materials and labor while liaising with vendors for packaging requirements and facilitating formulation setup and costing.
  • Collaborate with production and compounding teams to analyze project specifications and resource needs for accurate project costing.
  • Prepare New Product Forms (NPFs) and finished product specifications in collaboration with customers and other relevant departments.
  • Work alongside the Manager ERP to provide necessary data points for building comprehensive Master Formulas and Bills of Material.
  • Facilitate effective communication and collaboration among various departments and stakeholders, providing necessary training and information for successful project execution.
  • Act as a liaison between the company, customers, and vendors, addressing inquiries, concerns, and complaints throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, standards, and best practices, and conduct thorough post-mortem evaluations of new product runs.
  • Supervise staff, including recruitment, training, performance appraisal, and conflict resolution.

Education and Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., Computer Science, Business, Engineering) required.
  • Minimum of five years of relevant experience.
  • Familiarity with cGMP requirements and relevant regulations governing dietary supplements and personal care cosmetic manufacturing.
  • Preferred certifications: PMP, PgMP, CAPM, or comparable project management certifications.
