Summary: Experienced Vendor Scheduler will ensure the presence of raw materials, packaging materials and intercompany products in such a way that the materials are available for production on time, taking the lead times of the suppliers and in compliance with the stock management policy.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: • Timely placement of Purchase Orders of Raw Materials, Packaging Materials, Intercompany products and products for resale (PFR) at the supplier based on system settings. • Obtaining delivery commitment from suppliers for the purchase orders placed. • Record and update process -and master data in SAP timely to give accurate visibility to planners, purchasing and production. • To identify future supply constraints before they become problematic, and work with stakeholders to develop options for the resolution, minimizing production outage. • Optimize stock levels by following the system proposals and make proposals on improvements (including Slow moving and obsolete stock). • Raise supplier complaints as necessary ensuring corrective actions are implemented by the suppliers to prevent re-occurrence. • Maintain Vendor OTIF and review on a monthly basis, escalating performance issues to the relevant Procurement Manager and Supply Chain if necessary. • Participate in supplier review meetings as required. • Comply with SHE (Safety, Health and Environment) norms at the plant. • Collaborate in continuous improvement projects and activities in order to optimize vendor scheduling.
Job Requirements: • Knowledge/experience in a Supply Chain, Logistics and/or Manufacturing environment • Strong IT skills, particularly on MS Excel • Proactive, with an ability to identify potential blockers/issues and work with relevant stakeholders to prevent/rectify issue • Attention to detail • Excellent communication and relationship building skills • SAP knowledge/experience strongly desired • Continuous improvement mentality
