A client in Phoenix, AZ is looking for an Pricing Application QA Lead to join their team. As the Pricing Application QA Lead, you will be responsible for leading and managing the entire QA process for the client's pricing application. You will develop and implement test strategies, manage a team of QA Analysts, and collaborate closely with development and product teams to deliver a high-quality, bug-free application on time.
Responsibilities:
Lead the development and execution of a comprehensive test strategy for the pricing application.
Helping with the test execution as and when required.
Lead defect triages.
Develop testing strategies for testing interfaces.
Deeply understand the pricing logic and ensure the application accurately reflects pricing rules and calculations.
Manage a team of QA Analysts, assigning tasks, mentoring, and fostering a high-performing testing environment.
Develop and maintain test cases covering all functionalities, user flows, and edge cases.
Identify, reproduce, document, and report software defects.
Collaborate with development teams to ensure timely resolution of defects.
Continuously improve the QA process by identifying areas for automation and optimization.
Work closely with product and development teams to understand requirements and translate them into actionable test plans.
Communicate test results effectively to stakeholders, providing clear insights and recommendations.
Must Haves:
10+ years of experience in software testing
5+ years of experience leading and managing a QA team
Strong experience with the Retail, Merchandising, Promo, and Pricing systems domain
Experience in a test management tool, preferably qTest or ALM
Experience as a pricing test lead for at least one implementation
In-depth knowledge of software development lifecycle (SDLC) methodologies, particularly Agile and Scrum.
Strong understanding of software testing principles and methodologies (ex: black-box testing, exploratory testing).
Must be willing to work all 5 days a week when required and must be working at least 3 days a week from office
Plusses:
Knowledge of Periscope pricing tools
Knowledge of SAP, and POS systems
Knowledge of TOSCA or any automation tools
Concepts of performance testing
Experience with test automation frameworks and tools (ex: Selenium, Cypress)
Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field (preferred)
Compensation:
$50 to $55/hr
Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
