The Team
Data fuels growth and performance at T. Rowe Price. Data is embedded in our culture and is how we compete and win. Data Governance and Operations is one of the critical pillars within the newly established Chief Data Office (CDO), part of T. Rowe Price’s Chief Operating Office (COO). The pillar is responsible for establishing an enterprise data governance target operating model focusing on ownership, quality, and knowledge to aid growth and performance.
The Role
Director, Data Management and Reporting is a strategic business leader that provides leadership and oversight of the delivery portfolio for the Enterprise Data Governance and Operations organization. This role will have primary program and administrative responsibility for implementing a federated data governance framework, upgrading data catalogs, DQ rules engine, and implementing an issues management platform in an Agile mindset. This includes collaborating on a cohesive roadmap for data-related initiatives, encompassing data governance, data quality, data integration and data lineage. You will work closely with various functions and business units to align data needs with business outcomes, ensuring data is utilized effectively to drive informed decision-making and support business growth, efficiency and risk initiatives and operations.
Impact
The role is pivotal in driving the development and success of data driven programs within the CDO, COO and Corporate strategic priorities. You will have the opportunity to execute the strategic vision set by the Head of Enterprise Data Governance and Operations, aligning them with business objectives, and prioritizing features and improvements. The Director, Data Management and Reporting will lead through collaboration with CDO Technology, the Enterprise Transformation Office, the CTO organization, and Business Data Product owners to ensure that Data Governance Programs deliver actionable results achieving agree upon strategic outcomes.

Regional Requirements: Base salary range:$151,000 - $323,000 USDFor the location of:ColoradoNew YorkPlacement within the range provided above is based on the individual’s relevant experience and skills for the role. Base salary is only one component of our total compensation package. Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus, which is determined upon company and individual performance.
