What you'll do...


Walmart Marketplace enables thousands of sellers to grow their business in the platform. As we are growing our seller base rapidly, we are tasked with ensuring that we allow good actors/sellers to enter the marketplace and grow their business, while implementing scalable controls to manage bad actors and non-compliant listings from proliferating on the platform.


As a Staff Product Manager for Walmart Marketplace, you will work cross functionally with business, engineering, design, research, and analytics teams to deliver exceptional products and experiences that empower the growth of good selection on the platform while protecting the customer's shopping experience and Walmart's reputation. You will be responsible for establishing policies and standards around item and seller compliance and build best-in class tools that ensure our sellers meet the uncompromising standards.



You'll sweep us off our feet if:





  • You have experience in launching user experience-based products for 2-sided businesses.

  • You use data to drive strategy, decisions and outcomes.

  • Strong experience on UX products and thought leadership to drive delightful experiences for seller journeys.

  • You have experience working with compliance and marketplace business teams in the past.

  • You're comfortable working with software engineers to develop scalable solutions.

  • You're skilled at engaging and communicating with senior executives across multiple domains.

  • You engage at a technically detailed level across key stakeholders

  • You're organized, disciplined, and can manage multiple projects simultaneously.

  • You're stimulated by challenges and are ready to engage at Fortune 1 scale.

  • You are comfortable dealing with ambiguity.




You'll make an impact by:



  • Driving roadmap prioritization, vision, and strategy with internal stakeholders, driving the end-to-end product implementation process.

  • Collaborating with internal stakeholders to defines success metrics, map out technical workflows, drive go-to-market strategy and adoption, drive product feature enhancements/iterations.

  • Conducting user research and surveys by synthesizing customer pain points; analyzes and visualizes large amount of data into actionable insights and be an advocate of metric-driven decision-making process.

  • Coordinating post-launch activities to validate that the new features work as designed, collect performance metrics and customer feedback.

  • Moving fast within our agile and iterative team environment

Live Better U is a Walmart-paid education benefit program for full-time and part-time associates in Walmart and Sam's Club facilities. Programs range from high school completion to bachelor's degrees, including English Language Learning and short-form certificates. Tuition, books, and fees are completely paid for by Walmart.

Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment. Benefits are subject to change and may be subject to a specific plan or program terms.

The annual salary range for this position is $143,000.00-$286,000.00

Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.

Minimum Qualifications...

Option 1: Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or related area and 7 years' experience in product management. Option 2: 9 years' experience in product management or related area.




Preferred Qualifications...

Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, or related area and 6 years' experience as a product manager, ideally working on consumer-facing, large-scale, highly complex B2B/C products, We value candidates with a background in creating inclusive digital experiences, demonstrating knowledge in implementing Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 AA standards, assistive technologies, and integrating digital accessibility seamlessly. The ideal candidate would have knowledge of accessibility best practices and join us as we continue to create accessible products and services following Walmart's accessibility standards and guidelines for supporting an inclusive culture.
