Location: Knoxville TN


Hours: 10p - 6:30am



This job will have the following responsibilities:

• Perform a variety of laboratory tests throughout the plasma processing pipeline, using both manual and automated methods.
  
  


• Analyze blood samples from donors to ensure they meet eligibility criteria for plasma donation. This may involve testing for infectious diseases, blood type, and other factors.


• Conduct tests on materials used in plasma processing to confirm sterility, purity, and compatibility.


• Perform quality control testing on plasma throughout different stages of manufacturing and distribution.


• Maintain laboratory equipment, ensuring proper calibration and functionality.


• Troubleshoot issues with laboratory procedures and analyze test results to identify any abnormalities.


• Maintain accurate and detailed records of all testing procedures and results.


• Adhere to strict safety protocols and aseptic techniques in a laboratory setting.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Associate's degree in a relevant scientific field (e.g., biology, chemistry, medical laboratory science) preferred.
  
  


• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a laboratory setting.


• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.


• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.


• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.


• Proficient in basic laboratory procedures and equipment.


• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
