Careers that Change Lives
At Medtronic, we not only get the opportunity to manage indirect categories for the largest medical device company in the world, but we also get to experience the immense sense of purpose that comes from knowing that the money we save is reinvested into technology that helps alleviate pain, restore health, and extend lives of millions of patients across the world. The work we do supports the Medtronic Mission and it matters.
In this role, you will be a key member of Medtronic's center-led Indirect Supply Management (ISM) team and will report to the ISM Ops Network leader. This is a global project-based role that allows you to partner with stakeholders across many functions, regions, and businesses to drive value. You will be assigned specific manufacturing sites and will have direct responsibility for identifying, initiating, and executing improvement projects that reduce spend and generate value within the MRO category. You will partner with the center-led category management teams to implement pan-Medtronic procurement strategies and provide critical input to drive future strategies.
The best candidate will possess an intrinsic drive to make a difference not only in the MRO/Operations category but for Medtronic overall and the patients we serve. The opportunities are limitless, and we are seeking a candidate who seeks out new opportunities every day to learn and make a difference. The ideal candidate will be able to quickly build and leverage relationships, work both independently and collaboratively, and successfully influence.
Our team culture is one where every individual is expected to "Lead from Every Seat." Regardless of level or title, everyone is encouraged to be bold, curious, accountable, proactively tackle challenges, and bring forward meaningful solutions.
