Position Overview

The position is intended to provide assistance with tax compliance matters while gaining general experience and exposure in the Tax Department.

Function Related Activities/Key Responsibilities

• Gathers audit evidence for state and local tax audits
• Provides general administrative support to the business
• Conducts research when asked and compiles information
• Organizes documents and maintains files
• Identifies, develops, and documents issues and recommendations using independent judgment concerning areas being reviewed.
• May be asked to perform additional duties as necessary

Position Requirements

• Must be enrolled in high school or a 4-year bachelor's degree program

• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.
• Highly organized with great attention to detail
• Ability to consistently follow directions and procedures
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
• Excellent written and communication skills
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office
