Job Description:

TEST ENGINEER - ASHBURN, VA.



The Select Group is seeking a Sr. Test Engineer to help support one of our top clients in the telecom industry. For this role, we are looking for someone who has good experience working in a device testing lab with good knowledge in Firewall and Load Balancer technologies, specifically F5 and Radware, to join their lab testing team and assist in their device testing efforts to improve the home internet experience for their customers. This is a Hybrid position and will be required to work onsite in Ashburn, VA.. 2 days out of the week. If this is something you are interested in, please apply today!



SR. TEST ENGINEER REQUIREMENTS:

• 3+ years of experience working within a device testing lab
• Proven experience setting up test benches, standard test procedures and the utilization of Jira or Confluence
• 4+ years of experience working with Load Balancer technology
• Well versed in F5 and Radware
• Good experience working with Firewall Technology

SR. TEST ENGINEER PREFERRED SKILLS:

• Scripting in Python, Ansible or Bash
• Openstack, virtualization experience

SR. TEST ENGINEER RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Test lab for in home routers in and extenders
• Set up new test config
• Run test scenarios that are already established
• Troubleshoot failed test scenarios
• Pull logs, use creativity to solve the issue
• Write up In Jira
