RESPONSIBILITIES:

Kforce's client, a Global Medical Device Organization is looking for a Controller in Mahwah, NJ.

Summary:
The Corporate Controller-North America will manage all aspects of our accounting, financial reporting, tax, SOX controls, as well as interactions with our HQ accounting team. The position is also directly accountable for achieving company's working capital targets (AR/AP/Inventory) through direct management and partnering with other departments.

Functions/responsibility areas include:

• General accounting, cost/inventory accounting, service accounting, tax, AR, AP, fixed assets, and SOX controls


• As a Controller, you will report directly to the Senior Vice President of Finance (CFO) and partner closely with Director of FP&A, Director of Sales Financial Operations, Headquarters Accounting, as well as all other business functions, including executive management

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA or Master's degree strongly preferred)


• 10+ years of progressive experience in accounting roles, with at least 5 years in a managerial capacity; Current experience as Controller/Assistant Controller and Big 4 public accounting experience strong preferred


• Thorough understanding of US GAAP and SOX controls; Experience with IFRS a plus


• Strong analytical skills and attention to details, with the ability to interpret and present complex financial data to all levels of management


• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with individuals at all levels across the company


• Proven track record of driving process improvements and implementing best practices to optimize accounting operations


• Proficiency in top accounting software and ERP systems; Experience with SAP preferred

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
