Job Description:

Position Description:

• 100% fully remote position, needs to sit in EST or CST


• Prior government accounting experience that is a huge plus


• CPA or CPA eligible a huge plus


• Role is open due to growth of company

Responsibilities

• Prepare journal entries in compliance with US GAAP


• Reconcile various general ledger accounts, including investigation of the underlying cause of any discrepancies in the balance


• Perform bank account reconciliations


• Prepare end-of-month consolidated financial statements and reports

Education And Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business Administration or Finance required.


• 3+ years of related experience required.


• Certified Public Accountant designation preferred.


• Experience with Government Contracting preferred.


• Experience with Cost Accounting Standards and DCAA audits preferred.
