The applicant will be trained to work mostly independently to design and research projects. The applicant will provide supervision and guidance for students and other personnel.
Work involves 1) characterization of RSV vaccines, 2) design, and optimization of experiments for analysis, and 3) optimization of assays to better understand host responses to inflammation and viral disease.
Performance differs from a technician in planning and executing complex experiments, analyzing data, and applying theoretical concepts.
