Minimum Qualifications:


Requires technical knowledge in the field acquired through an apprenticeship, a 2-year degree, or professional certificate. Please contact your Human Resources office for an evaluation of education/experience in lieu of the required minimum qualifications.


Position Summary:

This technician is responsible for planning, coordinating and executing the performance of all Molecular Diagnostic test procedures for the diagnosis and treatment of bacterial, viral and fungal diseases of animals.


Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and/or Competencies:

Experience in a microbiology, medical technology, veterinary diagnostic, commercial or public health laboratory.


Physical Demands:

Lift 40 pounds unassisted. Stand, walk or sit for long periods of time.
