Summary: Oversee and manage the payroll processes to ensure accurate and timely processing of payroll activities, compliance with relevant laws and regulations, and maintaining confidentiality and security of employee payroll data. Supervise a team of payroll professionals, provide guidance, and collaborate with various stakeholders to streamline payroll operations.


Responsibilities:



  • Manage every facet of payroll administration including routine payroll processing, adherence to tax regulations and reporting as well as compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX).

  • Lead and manage a payroll team, overseeing task assignments, workloads, and creating a collaborative atmosphere to support professional growth and meet payroll deadlines efficiently.

  • Serve as the payroll subject matter expert within the payroll team, HR Centers of Excellence, internal stakeholders, auditors, and primary point of contact for outsourced payroll providers.

  • Ensure accurate, compliant, and punctual processing of payroll while effectively handling and resolving any payroll-related issues as they arise.

  • Identify and implement process improvements for more efficient, accurate, and compliant payroll operations, collaborating with various departments and external vendors to integrate systems, overseeing payroll system projects, developing procedures and policies, and providing training on payroll initiatives and changes.

  • Administer the global stock-based compensation program within payroll, including the processing of RSUs/PSUs for both US and non-US employees, with a focus on ensuring accurate income reporting and compliance with tax withholding requirements. Assist with Proxy reporting.

  • Oversee the processing of the Tour/Leadership payments and year end 1099/1042-S reporting requirements.

  • Auditing and reconciling relocation expenses and tax rates to ensure compliance with IRS guidelines.

  • Budget & forecast payroll expenses ensuring payroll activities align with the approved budget and are in line with the financial goals of the organization.

  • Oversee review and approval of expense reporting process and perform periodic audits to ensure compliance with Travel & Expense policy.


Requirements:



  • Bachelor's degree in related field required.

  • 8+ years of experience in leading a payroll team. Hands-on experience with different Payroll, Time and Attendance, Human Resources Information Systems, and Payroll Service Providers. P preferred experience with UKG, ADP and Oracle application is a plus. Manufacturing payroll experience preferred.

  • Excellent project management and organizational skills, including the ability to manage effectively numerous concurrent projects and tasks in a fast-paced and rapidly growing environment. Excellent written and oral communications including education and change management. Excellent analytical and decision-making abilities Demonstrated ability to support operations. Demonstrated ability to design and proactively improve operational processes. Demonstrated delivery of results through influence and cross-functional collaboration A self-starter, who will take the initiative to lead and drive Payroll without constant direction.
