Job Description:

Threat Tec is seeking a Joint Training Support System Specialist to provide comprehensive joint training support to assist SOCSOUTH in the implementation and execution of the Joint Training System. The successful candidate will play a vital role in supporting the assessment, design, development, implementation, and management of joint training and exercise programs to ensure readiness across SOCSOUTH units.

Responsibilities

• Provide support in the assessment, design, development, implementation, and management of supported unit's joint training and exercise programs, subordinate processes, and specialized command training programs.
• Assist in the integration, coordination, and standardization of special operations forces mission essential tasks and related conditions and standards at the HQ, Service Components, TSOC, and Unified Command level using the Joint Training Manual for Armed Forces of the United States as guidance.
• Develop and maintain an electronic continuity resource to ensure seamless transition and consistent support for joint training initiatives.
• Serve as a subject matter expert on the Joint Training Information Management System (JTIMS) and provide user support, training, and troubleshooting as needed.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to identify training requirements, develop training plans, and facilitate joint training events.
• Maintain awareness of current joint training policies, procedures, and best practices to ensure compliance and effectiveness of training programs.
• Support the development and execution of joint exercises, simulations, and tabletop exercises to enhance readiness and interoperability among SOCSOUTH units and partner organizations.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 10 years of prior military experience, with a strong background in joint training and exercise support.
• At least 3 years of experience as a Joint Training Information Management System (JTIMS) user, with proficiency in utilizing the system to manage training data and resources.
• Demonstrated understanding of joint training concepts, processes, and regulations.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance.
