PORT MECHANIC
We are seeking an experienced Port Mechanic to join our team at Mississippi Port Authority. This position requires a skilled individual capable of performing journey-level diagnosis, maintenance, and repair of gasoline, diesel, and electrically powered equipment. As a Port Mechanic, you will independently apply thorough mechanical knowledge and skills to solve technical problems efficiently. Your responsibilities will include performing mechanical work on a variety of light equipment at the Port, as well as conducting preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on support equipment systems including mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems.
