This is a full-time hybrid role for a Vascular Access Nurse at ProVasc,.
located in and around Chicago, IL and Northwest Indiana with flexibility for some remote work. The Vascular Access Nurse will be responsible for providing specialized nursing care to patients requiring vascular access procedures. They will assess patient needs, insert and manage intravenous (IV) lines, monitor and maintain central venous catheters, and provide education and support to patients and their families. The Vascular Access Nurse will collaborate with healthcare teams to optimize patient outcomes and ensure safe and effective vascular access.
Qualifications
Valid registered nurse (RN) license
Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Vascular Access Nurse or in a similar role
Demonstrated proficiency in vascular access procedures, including insertion and management of intravenous (IV) lines and central venous catheters
Knowledge of sterile techniques, infection prevention, and patient safety protocols
Strong assessment and critical thinking skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
Flexibility to adapt to changing patient needs and work schedules
