Execute transactions based on instructions provided by the Portfolio Manager (PM) across diverse asset classes such as equities, derivatives, and investment baskets.
Aid in all facets of trading operations, encompassing the surveillance and systematic adjustment of account-specific investment mandates, portfolio realignments, and hedging strategies.
Provide support for activities related to equity capital markets and secondary trading.
Offer assistance to the PM/Analysts by furnishing market insights, pertinent economic indicators, corporate updates/research findings, and addressing spontaneous requests.
Oversee relationships with counterparties, including outsourced trading entities, research providers, and global execution partners.
Administer the commission allocation budget for sell-side counterparts and coordinate the quarterly broker evaluation process.
Maintain assorted internal performance indicators and evaluation tools for the PM's reference.
Monitor and update earnings schedules and previews.
Compile and present reports on analyst-generated investment ideas for the PM.
Contribute to internal risk assessments and factor analyses.
Assist in trade allocations and communicate relevant details with executing brokers.
Required Qualifications:
1-4 years of relevant experience as a trading assistant, middle office, and/or operations professional in a buy side environment
