Oversee all aspects of plant operations that will include driving efficiency improvements, schedule optimization, and ensuring adherence to quality/compliance standards with food safety regulations
Manage labor costs, capital expenditure spending, and profit interests
Utilize financial acumen to make informed decisions and drive profitability
Develop and implement long-term strategies for plant growth and optimization
Evaluate repair quotes and make data-driven decisions to optimize maintenance spending
Directly manage a team consisting of a warehouse manager, maintenance supervisor, quality specialist, HR specialist, production supervisors (processing and packaging), planner, and sanitation lead
Supports the R&D team in the development of new products and processes, supports production runs, costing of labor, and scrap standards for new products
Candidate Profile:
Previous experience in a managerial role within a manufacturing environment, preferably in the food industry
Strong financial acumen and experience managing budgets and profit interests
Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies
