Job Description:

Finisher with experience needed at Heartwood Custom Woodworks in Eagle, CO. Custom finishes include but are not limited to stains & lacquer, varnishes, paints, cerusing, ebonizing, various sheens. Weekly schedule is FT 40 hrs/wk, with occasional overtime. Compensation depends on experience and skill, starting range $25-$30/hr. PTO, HRA plan, possible housing option. Finisher Responsibilities: Apply defect-free finishes for each project through completion. Support other team members. Proper recordkeeping of formulas and products used per project. Safe practices. Good housekeeping. Technical Skills Required: Surface preparation for any finishing process. Color blending, matching, and touch-up as needed. Spraying using air assisted and HVLP spray equipment. Match finishes to approved samples for projects through completion. Use and care of COROB Evo1st paint tinting machine and components. Other Important Skills: Effective communicator. Able to read and understand shop drawings and job-specific instructions. Able to perform basic machinery & tool maintenance. Able to identify problems and seek to resolve logically and without drama. Physical stamina and ability to perform tasks that require lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods of time.
