Leidos QTC Health Services is seeking an IT Intern to support our Office of Technology.


Leidos QTC Health Services collaborates closely with government and non-government customers to address current and future program needs within the health services domain. We specialize in disability-focused medical examinations, independent medical exams and review services, occupational health services, diagnostic testing, and case management solutions. This position will be located on-site in Orlando, FL.


As part of this role, you will be given tasks that are essential for the successful implementation of the Leidos QTC Health Services Information Technology plan. This internship is designed to give you practical experience, and Leidos QTC Health Services will provide you with real-world experience, technical guidance, and career mentorship throughout your internship. As a member of the Software Development Team, your responsibilities may include supporting a wide range of IT solutions that are crucial to the QTC business mission.


Responsibilities:


Support to IT solutions throughout the software lifecycle, tailoring an intern’s position to their individual strengths and experience to include:



  • Assist in the creation of clear and comprehensive documentation, including operating procedures, user manuals, process guides, and system specifications.

  • Collaborate with business analysts and team leads to understand and document processes, workflows, and requirements.

  • Review and edit documentation for clarity, consistency, and adherence to company standards.

  • Research to gather technical information and ensure accuracy in documentation.

  • Assist in end-user support, as necessary.


Qualifications:



  • Must be currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Technical Communication, or related field.

  • Must maintain a minimum GPA 3.0.

  • Enthusiastic and proactive learner with a passion for technology and business processes.

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.

  • Ability to work full time as a summer/winter intern but desired for candidate to be able to work part-time now.

  • Basic understanding of business analysis concepts and documentation practices is a plus.

$30 per hour
