Job Description:

F.H. Paschen is looking for a qualified Project Engineer to join our project team in the Savannah and Charleston areas. While this is an entry-level role, you will be involved in many facets of construction and have the ability to evolve our existing operations. As the Project Engineer, you will help the project team with all administration and documentation of the construction project while providing support to assist the team in overseeing one to two trades on a larger project or many trades on smaller projects.

Ability to participate in preconstruction services, including estimating and value engineering Track material procurement and coordinate deliveries Produce project schedules with site superintendent Review and determine suitability of submittals Quote/qualify subcontractor requests for change orders Track status of change orders Track status of Requests for Information Collect, verify and distribute as-builts Maintain project close-out documents Assist with field supervision Blueprint reading Quantity take-offs Subcontractor solicitations Correspondence Document Control Subcontractor Coordination Other duties as assigned
